Fredericksburg Victory Athletic Association was established in 2013 to provide home schooled athletes an opportunity to participate in competitive middle and high school sports in the Fredericksburg area.
The mission of Victory Athletics is to provide and promote athletic opportunities among home school families. FVAA shall exist for the purpose of providing homeschool children with the opportunity to participate in organized competitive sports, teach Christian principles, and encourage relationships that will challenge each young person to strive for maturity in all areas of their lives.

The next year, 2014, the organization established roots and added a Girls Varsity Volleyball, 14U (Middle School) Boys Basketball, and 14U (Middle School) Girls Basketball teams.
Now, FVAA has grown to include Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity girls volleyball, Varsity boys volleyball, Middle School and Varsity girls basketball, Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity boys basketball, and Varsity boys baseball.
What Players and Parents Say About Victory
Victory is a home, a family, a release, it is a safe space, I have never experienced a place as welcoming and amazing as Victory. Being a part of the Victory Volleyball team has taught me much more than volleyball, it taught me life skills; kindness, integrity, communication, work ethic, cooperation, creativity, self awareness, how to hold my head high, how to believe in myself when I was doing things that I didn’t think were possible, these are things I will use for the rest of my life. I can never explain how much this association has helped me through so many things and how proud I am to say that I was a part of Victory Volleyball. – Varsity Player
Playing for Victory has built compassion, character, and skill from the team and from the coach!
When my daughter was in a car accident near practice, Coach literally ran out of the gym to the scene of a messy accident to be with our girls until parents could get there. He PRAYED with them!
When my daughter had Covid, Coach contacted daily to check on her progress and give encouraging words. A player drove 45 minutes to our house to give a care package to encourage health and comfort. – Varsity Parent
I don’t know how to put into words what Victory has meant to our daughter. This organization is more than a sport for our daughter, the entire organization is a family. Everyone from teammates, families, and coaches are so encouraging. She has grown so much in her confidence, sportsmanship, character and faith through this program. We are so blessed by this organization! We can’t thank them enough for the amazing opportunity they provide homeschool community.

Victory has created an athletic environment that parents can only dream about. Because of the culture that has been created, my daughter has turned a curiosity of volleyball into a passion. And for that, I will forever be grateful to have found Victory – MS Parent
My daughter suffers from anxiety and has had bouts of severe depression. Victory volleyball has given her something to look forward to and provided her a sisterhood she can turn to when things get tough for her. It is more than just volleyball, it is a family, a support system, and, in our case, a lifesaver.

Victory basketball has taught my children more than just basketball, but that in everything we do we walk in the Lord and do our very best to glorify the Lord with the talents and gifts He has given each and every one of us. – MS, JV & V Parent
