Victory Baseball Player Assessments – November 2025
Victory Baseball is excited to continue building our homeschool program as we head into the 2026 spring season, our third year fielding a team. Returning players and new prospects are invited to participate in Player Assessments on Saturday, November 8th (1151 Mountain View Rd) and Saturday, November 15th (11050 Fletchers Chapel Road) from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. These assessment sessions are not tryouts. They are designed to help players establish baseline performance metrics in key areas of baseball, allowing both players and coaches to track progress ahead of the Varsity Team Tryouts in 2026 (date TBD). Players may attend one or both sessions; attending both is encouraged but optional.
Check-In:
- Arrive 15 minutes early to register so we can start promptly at 10:00 AM.
Assessment Categories:
- Speed: 60-Yard Dash, 2B to Home
- Defense: Outfield Velocity, Infield Velocity, Catcher Pop Time
- Pitching: Pitching Velocity
- Offense: Tee Exit Velocity
Additional Activities:
- Field fly balls and ground balls
- Tee work reps and coach-pitch at-bats
- Short bullpen sessions for pitchers
Player Requirements:
- Full baseball attire (pants, jersey, hat)
- Protective gear (helmet, cup, glove, etc.)
- Water for hydration
- Metal cleats (for natural fields)
- -3 BBCOR-rated bats for hitters
